Hi, sorry we haven't been by to visit for a while, but things have been a little rough. Pug brother Toby died on Dec 28 unexpectedly from apparent heart failure and we are all still very sad. But then mommy went out on Valentine's day and, horrors of all horrors, got a new baby. He is a rough coated Brussels Griffon and his name is Dweezel, go figure!! Now we have to get used to this little critter under foot and attacking us everytime we turn around. But he is kinda cute. You will have to visit his page and check him out. Sending you a big pigs ear for a treat. Luv, the whole gang

Helloooooo there everydog! Sorry we haven’t popped in for a few days…On Sunday we had Tim & Laddie (vkerrsmith kennel) come for lunch and we had a wrestling tag tournament in the back garden for approx 8 hours…it was fabulous fun! As the weather was nice we were able to stay in the garden all day long…it was a great day! When they left to go home we fell asleep on the sofa…mum was exhausted too…but that was nothing to do with wrestling…just gassing! Yesterday we helped mum and dad do a bit of housework (mum tells dad what needs doing…and he does it!) and then they abandoned us for about an hour to drop a birthday card off and then we all sat in the garden…then we watched mum beat dad yet again at Super Scrabble…it is pitiful to watch…especially when she had 2 seven letter words in a row…massive points! Dad went out really early this morning (05:30) to go fishing with his mate and he didn’t come home until about 3pm…as he is on nights tonight he went and laid on the bed for an hour or so…We have been to the fields twice today and we met our huge golden Labrador friend Oliver this morning and this evening we met our GSD pal Oscar…we are contemplating another garden wrestle…we have left you a Cornish pastie as a treat tonight…and one of mum’s home made lemon muffins…catch you later…Love Parks, Boz & Scruffy

Hello there everyone! Sorry if we haven't been to see you all over the last couple of days but we have been busy playing with Uncle Scruffy and also making sure mum gets to the hospital for her latest round of tests in time and then there's the postman to watch, the tractors to count going past our window and so on and so on! Also we have had visitors round to see how mum is getting on and a birthday party to organise for our human niece who is 18 today, then we have to start preparing for a visit from Tim & Laddie on Sunday...but, as you can see, we have now found a window of oppotunity to pop round to see all our wonderful friends...(that's you!!!) Anyway, we hope you are all well and enjoying the downpours of rain...not! When will summer appear??? We have left you a treat of a huge jacket potato, baked in the oven having been coated in olive oil and a sprinkling of sea salt and fresh ground black pepper (it makes the skin go extra crispy!!!) and cold roast chicken and salad...we hope to pop in to see you again tomorrow after mum has another acupuncture session...Take Care...Love Parks, Boz & Uncle Scruffy...

Hello…Sorry we didn’t pop in to see everyone yesterday, but mum had to go to a physiotherapy session yesterday morning and when she returned she wanted to perfect her techniques and then, our aunty was meant to come for lunch but she had to cancel and then one of mum’s friends popped over for a coffee and a chat…when dad came home from work he wanted his dinner (and so did we) and then after he’d made a few phone calls, mum beat him yet again at Super Scrabble…we almost succeeded in upending the board as “stuff” was coming down the chimney again and we thought we may have another chance at meeting and greeting a blackbird into the lounge as a consequence we dived towards the chimney from the comfort of the sofa which would have meant leaping across the board…but mum & dad managed to save the board and divert us both round the side of the coffee table! As the fields are a little water logged and mum still didn’t think she’d be able to run away from the bullocks in her wellies (if they decided to give chase) we went out on a few pavement patrols round the block…we met a few people and they kept on telling mum “you’ve got your hands full there”…we obviously had our pure and innocent faces on and we still don’t know what these people were intimating!!!…Anyway, popped over to see Nanny today and we took her to the supermarket and we waited for her in the filed across the road…when we took her back to her house she treated us to some cheese chunks (Mcllellands Seriously Strong…only the best for us!!!) Anyway, we hope you are all well and we have left you some broccolli quiche, baked beans and some of mum’s chunky chips…catch you later…Love Parks & Boz

Hello…Well, if you had to put money on which of us two has “bad wind” (according to mum!!!) who would you back? Parks who has had big gobfuls of fresh cow pats this morning or Boz who has had none??? Mum says she has her suspicions that it is Parks with the offending bottom this morning…but neither of us are prepared to reveal the culprit!!! We went out across the fields at 07:30 this morning…Sunday lie-in…what’s one of those??? The cows/bullocks were there in the 2nd field when we commenced our walk…however, by the time we done our circuit (takes about 45 minutes) they were waiting for us right by the normal exit gate in field 1...thus we had to walk over to the other side of the field where their water trough is and loads of extra fresh and fat cow pats…when we were halfway across the field, 2 bullocks decided to run and skip and started head butting each other…we never knew mum could run so fast…with her back!!! We ran the last 100 yards in record time! It was raining by the time we came home…mum was lucky she had put her rain jacket on…but we are slightly damp and currently contained in the kitchen and study until we are dry enough to go into the lounge… Dad finished work at 07:00 this morning so he is in bed right now…snoring! He’ll be up by 12 though as he wants to watch the motorbike racing from Donnington on TV…We had a massive downpour of rain yesterday and a few rumbles of thunder…the rain was so fierce it was like a river in the road out the front of the house…we had literally just got back from our afternoon walk…Anyway…we hope you are all well…treats all round…toad in the hole (made with Purton’s!), mash potato, mixed vegetables and gravy! Catch you later…Love Parks & Boz

Hello…Well, you may believe the stories what we are about to tell, or you may not…however, we assure they are all true and they all happened yesterday…we certainly had a day of it!!! (as did mum & dad!!!) After a fairly early arising from our slumber, we had our breakfast and a lawn wrestle whilst mum & dad had a bit of breakfast…we then went for a walk across the fields…the cows are still in fields number 1 & 2...and over the past few weeks we have, we thought, learnt to tolerate each other whilst we ambled by…anyway, we got into the second field and 2 young bullocks decided they wanted to come for a walk with us and they followed us for most of our walk…we managed to lose them by diverting into the saxon camp…They had mooooveed along by the time we came back out of the camp!!! When we got home, mum wanted to do a few things in the caravan (check on the store cupboard!) and dad was left in the house in the study…anyway…whilst mum was in the caravan, she could hear us playing and barking in our garden…when she came out of the caravan she could not see Parks anywhere…however, on closer inspection of the fencing she noticed that 2 slats had been removed and Parks was once again in next doors garden chasing the tortoises again! Mum was trying to keep me (Boz) from joining him, whilst also trying to get dad’s attention…she was screaming at the top of her lungs and dad eventually ambled out…mum sent him in to next doors garden and dad was then seen running around their garden in hot pursuit of Parks…when Parks eventually came back into our garden mum had to stand by the fence with the missing slats until dad came back so that he had to make emergency repairs to the fence (after having a bit of an ear bashing from the lady next door…) Mum locked us back in the house with her and dad then had to screw the fence slats back on…he then went out to the nearest DIY shop and he came back with a large pot of screws and he proceeded to screw all the fence panels…(please note this fence is actually lady next doors fence and not legally ours!!!) Later on last evening…dad had gone off to work as he starts his run of night shifts…we were sat in the lounge watching a documentary and all of a sudden a load of dust came billowing out of the fireplace…another blackbird had fallen down the chimney and had landed on a large sheet of thick cardboard that dad had inserted for just such an emergency…mum knew she couldn’t get the bird out herself (she doesn’t do birds!) and we were going bonkers…we could hear the bird scrabbling around and squawking…dad was at work and was at least 20 minutes away…mum put us (after a bit of a tussle) into the kitchen and she closed the lounge door and went and knocked on next door…no answer…mum now in a panic ran (with her back!!!) to the next house and luckily the nice man was in and as he had his in-laws in visiting, he was more than happy to escape albeit for about 15 minutes…he came into the house and got the bird out, however, the bird escaped and then started squawking and flapping around and then hid behind the sofa…the man wrestled him to the ground and eventually contained him and took him out the front door and released him…he was last seen flying off in a northerly direction towards the Indian takeaway…after mum had thanked the nice man and he was allowed to go home, we insisted on helping mum clean the chimney dust up…luckily for us (according to mum!) the dust came up with the hoover!!! We couldn’t settle after all this excitement so mum ended up playing ball with us in the garden for about half an hour to tire us out and to enable us to forget about the bird incident…Dad is now home and in bed, but we think his first job today when he gets up will be to secure the chimney!!! Mum is hoping for a less eventful day today! Anyway, we have left you with egg & chips and a slice of buttered bread as a treat…catch you later…Love Parks & Boz

Hello There…Well, sorry if we didn’t pop in to see you yesterday, but we had to supervise mum doing a bit of house work, what with her back being a bit dodgy , as we had the Lovely Victoria and her boyfriend come for dinner last night and we also had to save all over mischief up for when they were here…Parks went above and beyond the call of duty by “stealing” some bits from the bowl with the nibbles in…no one noticed initially until they heard him crunching a cheese and chive bread twist under the table…as a consequence I didn’t get any as I was acting as the decoy…We obviously enamoured them with a spot of lawn wrestling and also a bout of lounge wrestling…the Lovely Victoria told mum & dad that her mum is currently saving up to buy a Patterdale (unless one can be found at a rescue centre…) as she has met us and she thinks we are just perfect…(who can argue with her???) We have both mum & dad home today, we’ll all go out for a walk this morning and then watch mum doing her physiotherapy exercises…we think she looks really funny when she does them and we have attempted to jump on her a few times when she has been doing the exercises…we have been once again sussing out whether we can get into next doors garden…mum caught us a few times trying to pull the fence slats out yesterday…we think dad may have to look at preventing it totally…Anyway, we all hope you had a lovely Sunday and now have a wonderful Monday…We have left you a fillet steak, garlic and herb big chunky chips, with salad and a home made strawberry mousse…take care…Love Parks & Boz

Hello Muttley & Ralphie...we hope you have lots of holiday tales to tell us soon...…Sorry we’re a little late with our visit, but Parks has been a little poorly all last night and some of today…he had mum up every hour on the hour last night and when she went to clean the mess up this morning she counted 12 poops which required hosing into the grass that were so squishy they were impossible to pick up…he seems a lot better now, so fingers crossed I wont get it now…we usually like to share most things…tummy bugs included! We have for the last hour been running round the garden chasing each other and partaking in our now traditional wrestling matches…we have had a light supper of boiled eggs to counter act any “vindaloo syndrome” Mum took us out form a gentle stroll and the cows were well away form us today…mum has finished her book and has now started another one and spent most of the day in the garden watching us paddle in the pool…well, we hope you are well and we have left you a treat of cheese and onion omelette and salad…Love Parks & Boz (ps…mum watched the film “Miss Potter” last night on DVD and she says it was very good, albeit a bit weepy…)

Hello Ralphie & Muttley…We hope you are well on this fine and sunny day??? When we last spoke to you, our dad had phoned from the Isle of Man to say not only had he lost his mobile phone, but now also his fishing tackle…well, he has been in touch again to advise mum that his phone has turned up at his mum & dad’s house having slipped down the back of the sofa when he and his human son had spent the day there on Tuesday…this was actually a place mum had told dad to check first before he did anything with his contract on his phone…but would he listen??? No! Don’t be silly! Anyway, as yet he hasn’t phoned today, but mum is not expecting a call until much later as the actual bike racing starts today (they have just been watching the practice races until now) We firstly got mum up at 05:45 today and now again just before 0800...we have all had our breakfast and mum will get showered and dressed shortly (once her painkillers kick in…) and then we’re going to go for an earlyish walk across the fields before it gets too hot…until then we’ll entertain ourselves and mum with a short bout of lounge wrestling, which will then progress into garden wrestling, then we’ll have a bit more lounge wrestling, a bit of stair wrestling, then a bit of bathroom floor wrestling whilst mum is in the shower…we’ll then have a bit of bed wrestling, then some more stairs wrestling then a bit of “don’t want our harnesses on” wrestling and then it’ll be time for us to pull mum into the fields and maybe we’ll be able to have a roll in a freshly made cow pat…On our return, mum is hoping we’ll all be able to spend the day in the garden…she is getting into a new book and the heat will do her back good…Later this evening mum is hoping to have her friend visit for the evening…we’ll probably all go out for a walk as mum’s friend loves walking…especially with us…she has a c*t living at their house and would love a dog but her son loves the c*t too much and they think the c*t is too old to get used to a dog…at some stage in the evening we’ll have to obviously give her an impromptu display of our wrestling skills and then she’ll have to tickle our tummies until we let her go home again and back to that c*t…(we have been to their house and the c*t has to be locked in one of the bedrooms when we visit…we always know it is in there…we can smell it…) Well, it’s now time for mum to get ready…catch you later…we have left you a treat of chicken korma, pilau rice, onion bahji and an individual naan bread…Love Parks & Boz

Hello Ralphie & Muttley…Well, we got mum up really early this morning, not long after 0500... And then after she’d let us out to do what a dog’s got to do we all went back to bed and then we got her up just before 0700...we’ve now had our breakfast and we’ve chased a few birds from our garden and we’re going to have an early morning wrestle before mum takes us out…the sun is out, the sky is blue…we hope this will remain the case for the day…yesterday mum had a physio session (leaving us here, home alone for just over an hour!!!) and then last night, mum’s friend from work came round for dinner and we also gave him an impromptu lounge wrestling display, including a round on the sofa…whilst he was sat on it!!! He was laughing and acting as a referee…Dad called yesterday from the Isle of Man, and not only has he lost his mobile phone, he has now, after a fishing session yesterday lunchtime, he has now lost his tackle!!! Mum thinks at this rate he’ll be losing something every day and come back with an empty car (assuming he doesn’t lose the car!!!) Parks has just had a very vocal couple of minutes telling the wheelie bin men what for whilst I was ensuring that the blankets in our basket are kept in their correct rumpled and crumpled state as opposed to the neatly folded state that mum insists upon…We hope you have a good day and enjoy this mornings treat of vegetarian pizza, salad with a splash of balsamic vinegar, followed by a dollop of tiramisu…Love Parks & Boz
