Dear DAZMB: I have just finished reading your sad story in the forum about the dog that you rescued from a busy highway. The event that took place was inevitible. You performed a courageous deed. You are a hero. It's sad that the poor little guy passed away after all your efforts, but I'm sure it was for the best. He must have been in a lot of pain and discomfort, so now he is at peace, and pain free. Thank you for your attempt to save him. I applaud you. Most sincerely, Trudy G.

Dear Daran, unfortunately we only got the swing for the last 2 years of Pickles life, and because of her age and arthritis she had to be lifted up there. If she caught us going anywhere near it, she would DEMAND to be lifted onto it, and then she would lie there quite happily for hours! When she was younger she would have easily jumped up, she used to have a mad half hour where she would bomb around the lounge from settee to chairs, without touching the floor, and there was a distant between the chairs! I hope you have wrapped up warm for your Tuesday night sit on the step, enjoying memories of previous Tuesdays. How is Tiny doing? Well it is nearly tattoo time, are you still feeling brave!!!!! Your lovely memories that you share about Benson make the love you shared (and still share tangible), I know they make your eyes mist up but they are so beautiful. It is such a privilege to have shared such a love isn’t it. I hope that you are managing, it is difficult because you will now be looking back and saying this time last year etc, but try and occasionally say this time 4 years ago, or 6 years ago and remember his mad cap days! Thank you so much. She is not all Yorkie but mixed with Shih Tzu...She really is an angel and very sweet little girl. She loves to cuddle amazingly! Benson looks adorbable as well. Hi, Thanks for your comment. Greyhounds are one of the most gentle dogs, they require 2 twenty minute walks a day and spend the rest of the time on a sofa or bed, they are great with children an you can teach them to live with other small animals. I have 2 cats and 3 rabbits and they all get on. I would recommend a greyhound to anyone.
